Window Costs Estimator Basics
Our development team has worked to get our window costs estimator extremely accurate for industry standard prices. We begin by taking your style and frame selection and adding these together for a baseline price. The would be the price on an entry level window - the nice thing about the way our estimator works is that users are able to mix and match with over 40 different combinations. The product cost question then uses a simple multiplier to find the mid range or high end pricing (if the user selects the entry level the multiplier simply leaves the price unchanged). This is the total price on the window itself.
The cost of installation is determined by the method selected - each of the four selections provides an average industry price per opening. Once you select your install method, we have the price for a single window with installation included. The rest is simple - number of windows you need replaced multiplies the number of windows to the single installed window pricing. Finally, we ask for your zip code and within seconds you have a project cost. The one item our window costs estimator is unable to gauge is different sizes for each type of window.
